 i have loads of painting ideas so i need to get back into it.. especially now we've de-mouldified stuff in the house... but want to finish the painting thats been sat for a few months first, however i think theres a block with it so thought to write this post to try unravel all that.... Painting something is easy, but painting the Illusion of something is difficult. one main example of this is leaves. luckily for me, i saw lots of depictions of trees in the musee dorsay, but unluckily for me, they were leaves on the trees not on the ground.. also there are many ways to Suggest the presence of leaves, but i am still unsure how i wnt to go about it in this painting. maybe ill start another painting side by side with it... can be god to flick between multiple paintings... CHAIRS PAINTING ref photo using: photo at the beginning of today (3rd march) photos at the end, after maybe painting for like 2hrs.... added an outline around the chairs since the painting is about the chairs i waan...

blue backgrounds... could carry on with this as a theme/link?... looking at new book cover n its a bigger splash by hockney n thinking could paint in monochrome w blue n white https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqnBtquoBbw leonardo process 'Sfumato' blue paintings?..  blue monochromenof the sea? wave pic from Wales? also want to try different types of underpainting/techniques?

 PAITNIG 1.SESSION 1 Can see some sort of chest the more i look at it. Red wound. chest line/scar line.  dripping paint - having intrusive thoughts of ripped open flesh. PAITNINGG1 SESSION2. really tempted to just refine what i did before, but when thinking about it i thought it would be good to try develop how different i feel from when i did the first session, Especially as I was looking at it, It felt like it looked like a chest. Add more curved lines as have more fluidity to my movements, but at the same time still stiff with the compression vest. Think its really important to kill my darlings with this project which is gonna be tough. 03.01. ended up doing this yesterday, idk if i like it or not, but i felt that way about the first one too. I added a bit more to it today but think im gonna leave it for a couple of days. hopefully it will grow on me, as I dont wanna relly do too many sessions.  26.nov: Eval on theme: didnt realise it but kinda has deeeeeeeeeeper meanings/.. Stone, biniding. Been thinking a lot how binding has stunted me and ive long since outgrown it,. not having full mobility of my body, my mind tying things off, eetc Like that it ties into the same proejct as the photos/video i made and it kinda all progressed together and grew from each other. 13 feb took pics of final painting today. finished it on thursday 9th. Had 2 stop myself bc i feel like i could go on working on it forever trying to touch bits up . Might trim the edges at some point idk.
