roads to other towns | photog
When i went to my mums for a while for xmas (self isolated b4 hand dw) I drove around out of boredom and realised how much i missed these roads! Not particularly the ones in Scunthorpe, but the ones that lead to other towns. city roads just dont hit the same in terms of just going on an hr long drive to no where in particular before slowly following signs to find ur way back. After driving around cities and even surrey, its bizarre how differently things are laid out. For example, to drive from farnham to aldershot you drive on main roads, even thought theyre right next to each other, whereas with scunthorpe and the surrounding towns its all country roads. So, I decided to go on another drive and stop to take some photos, using my phone as thats all i had, and possibly explore the juxtaposition of living in an industrial area with a lot of country around it, etc. I originally went out because i wanted to sit in my car somewhere and read, so the first so many photos are from that. ...
