window reflection photography
While in Manchester I was alone in my airbnb room for the night and decided to take photos out of the window with my macro lens as things were quite far away. I ended up getting some really nice shots and utilised the reflections in the window to get some cool stuff. I think it would be interested to combine these with street photography as it would give an interesting perspective of subject and photographer. The photos also remind me of Saul Leiter who I looked at for my summer project and also in videos of Todd Haynes talking about how they used his work as inspiration for the movie Carol, so I think it is extremely likely that he was in the back of my mind throughout. Also, it would be interesting to have filmed some stuff, but it likely would be very shakey.
