 got a big roll of blue paper on discount, so used some white emulsion on them. printed with corrugated cardboard

 decided to paint one of the binding pics i took!! Started doing it in acrylic as I already have another oil painting on the go of archangel michael .. I started by staining the paper this orange brown colour, as I wanted to do it in a greyscale blue kinda colour. Was rlly annoying me bc it looked so off and i couldnt work out why. Also was finding it frustrating trying to work with acrylic as it was drying and i wanted to be able to blend bits. tHis is when i decided I was going to spend the rest of the day using acrylic to do a solid underpainting/kinda and then start using oils the next day. I wanted the kind of Grisaille effect you got from using burnt siena anyway. I was worried the siena was going to make it look too warm as ~I wanted a more cool grey tones goin on, but decided since siena is a type of underpainting anyway, if i didnt like it i could go over it again with bluer n cooler grays. Using oils went well but it was still so annoying for a while so i had to keep rew...

 Realised I never put this on here, but i finished this big acrylic painting in September??? Idk if i like it

 been trying to do some abstract pieces obsessively to figure out some imagery for del dramas sound piece got some sponge rollers from the kid section in the range n did this to try one of them out been doing these kinds of things with a lino roller, did a big A2 one too n gonna do more innit tried sum charcoal stuff INK/DIP PEN: PASTELS: also trying to do draggy stuff with a thick paint brush to make lines but nothings rlly hitting right with it atm for some reason.... paitnings using tape:

 had a funny thought and did a sketch thinking i could do a painting. then did a presketch kinda thing with ink. Grace then said it would make a good lino print n i thought that was a good idea n im gonna try get my hands on some lino at some point and do some tshirts, but for now i decided to edit it in photoshop as a kind of print. Will make another post when the painting is actually done also

 Although i havent been doing a lot of making stuff since finishing uni, Im finally getting back into things. In december i did a few drawings and paintings. Idk how i did this painting, was thinking of how i didnt feel attached to painting anymore/atm and then ironically did this lol. really enjoying words & stickers & gems in paintings atm but they look so fun. Was thinking how i am overwhelmed by using colour and trying to paint faces realistically yet unrealistically/stylised, as i have been doodling a lot of faces through the past few turbulent months of my life and when ive tried to turn these into bigger/'real' pieces, it just doesn't look right. So, i think with this i managed to find a good balance, with some blocked colour Drew my family some stuff 4 xmas: Hoping, since using this new app i found i can organise what i want to do more and work on/paint. But ill talk about that more in the post im going to make about it<3
