went to life drawin..then watched movie 'the mastermind' 2025 and did some quick charcoal things

like this one,, subconsciously munch vibe?

when at the life drawing on one of the drawings (8), i used the side of the charcoal to quickly draw the figure in a minute/a few seconds and found it p cool, so when i got home and was watching a movie, i decided to use the same method to do scenes/images from the film. they're obviously not v detailed, but i like the outcome, esp with how the page is split into 8

been sleeping rubbish so was hoping to sleep in, slept til 5pm, washed hair, went on walk n got play doh prints..
stuck life drawing together, did blue sketch using life drawing as ref

job centre : (((((((((( was dead tired
thought they'd be able to help me w masters funding but no theyre stupid what a suprise

went to nero and read a bit, also made notes for dog story with fresh thoughts from yday

walked to the centre, made some notes for dog short story

library. got 2 books oops

cafe and read more of book , went on free bus, was going to freewrite on there but was tired, got a newspaper tho n then went home. laid in bed all evening and couldnt sleep 

14 april tues

had nice sleep, nice shower, read book a little - berger one from lib and happenings book

been meaning to do some printing with the stuff i took off my car so i did that 

1. air filter - both sides. had to trim a piece of paper to do the top as had a rim round it. recorded another bnw sound doing this as the roller was making cool sounds on the filter

top is crankcase breather thing i took off, which i like, bottom left is the gasket from the crankcase breather, which i liked and thought as i was doing it i liked the shape of the gasket, going to keep them as when i was pressing it down to print the gasket/seal, it looked cool against the white paper and had an idea that it would be cool to stick them on a canvas or smthn as the shapes would be interesting n similar vibe to abstract paintings/wiring diagrams... 
the bottom right is from the flange thing between the intake manifold and throttle body.

did some printing using the same parts above and playdoh to get an impression then printed that. tried the lino ink then switched to the ink pad as it worked better/was cleaner looking

then did 3 more 10 min paintings. p happy w these ones compared to the last ones. was trying to be stingy and use less paint, but the thick paint rlly benefitted w getting the texture soo

tried to fix typewriter,nearly got there but lost the drawstring so had to take it apart again lol

on wed i saw that the last part i changed/fixed on my car was still leaking oil, so i decided to check the screws and tighten/torque them properly. only took 30min
went on a drive in the sun and got some coffee then went to the nature reserve and did some drawing w oil pastels
