 monday 14th october spent most the time on this one today, not even painting but trying to figure out what to do with it.. insps include still lifes, figure studies, and giorgio de chirciro... was struggling what colour to do the back ground(s) but went with white as i think it has a mirror like effect which i think symbolically is interesting i guess. might add a chestnut and/or a jackdaw. dont know how or where yet though. been blocking bits in which has been fun. feel like ive never dont it this way before but love the effect of it so far.. feels a little cubist like in a way n i like the use of negative space n texture. doodles on phone in bed TUESDAY 15th painted a bit edited shopping lists maybe could scan things for conveyor belt? rather than photograph? only problem is brands? idk deld wrote out a bit, was nice and feel a bit better about it.. think i try to ignore it bc its intimidating n a big project and gives me the ick a little... wednesday 16th workie thursday 17th w...

 insps: yves klein leap into the void maya deren i spend ages trying to think of a cover, mostly with imagery of cars and roads in mind. can'tremember how i came up with it, but i thought something similar the the klein falling work would be interesting. I kinda wanted something with motion and some sort of symbol (although i was originally thinking of road signs and markings). photos : i really wasn't planning on doing this anytime soon, after trying to plan to do it and the plan falling apart due to being busy etc, but randomly it happened which was rlly nice ! i woke up thinking i would be able to collect my car from the garage that evening so id prepared myself, and was looking forward to, a 30min evening walk. however the garage got sent the wrong part so i had an extra day but i decided to go on the walk anyway and take pictures, and then had the idea i could possibly shoot this idea. i took my time getting to the park as i knew i was going to be using a longer shutter an...
