monday 13th may
laundry
bought a work bench!

also some Flowers!

quite tired,, rlly didnt sleep well last night

wached would i lie to u and painted landscape thing a bit more

Tuesday 14th may:

went to the centre to buy some film for trip to amsterdam... got one colour and one black and white, film was quite steep so think im gonna start buying it online.. also wanna try develop my own film so maybe can start with the black and white one?
dont think ive used this colour film before so will hopefully be interestinnn

since was in the centre did a bit of shoppin..

first went to the junk shop i usually go to and got loads of bits all together for 20 quid

never really looked thru the magazines b4 for some reason but picked up these

thought this would be good to sketch stuff from also liked the design n layout on the inside

also looked through some other magazines and took a pic of the insides as the design n font n contrast of colour n black and white pages was cool

the guy at the till said the quentin crisp one has a film of it n its good

then went to the library to try and scan the shopping lists i had but someone was using the one computer thats attached to the scanner again yay :)))))))))))) found a funny book tho about weird museums and apparently theres one for lawn mowers

went for a coffee instead then went to tk maxx to look at books and art stuff.. got some gouache paints.. hopefully can be useful for plein air stuff as they dry quick.. never used them b4 tho

then went to c.e.x lol

got home and listened to some of the records and then ate some food and watched breakfast at tiffany's... tried out the wire i got last week on the can tabs and it worked really well ! might have to solder the ends down tho

then during the night i watched shameless and painted with new paints over the landscape ive been werkin on.. looking loads better w the gouache tho than the emulsion..

will be interesting to see how i progress as i fill the book w them.. also hopefully can get some kinda style goin eventually.

bit of a rubbish day at work..
got a headache but managed to get to sleep fairly quickly and slept well for once !

friday 17th may

washed hair! finally !!! collected my prescriptoin n had a little trip to asda for spinach

painted and listened to records - frankie goes to hollywood and then bob dylan

joined some more can tabs together for half an hr or so

thinking about art is community.... n connection... n why fame and industry never rlly works in the arts.. need to create chat n blabber n life..
i think sometimes looking at works u might not rlly care or be interested, but hearing the artists creation process n their life n inner workings rlly makes it into Something..

maybe at somepoint can do art docs... would be interesting to see lots of different people and their workings... rlly want to do something to break illusions of legitimacy etc.

was reading some old tweets and found an old thing i wrote in 6th form that was inspired by a clockwork orange !! was looking for it on my computer a while agooo.. its not too bad tbf

woke up at 11 i think.. got to the airport at 1pm. flight was supposed to be at 3:15 but it was delayed for like an hr i think...
