stray photos.. gardening, york,

Took a few more photos casually. Nothing special, but some did come out nice. Used my light meter too taking insp from the 24 photo shoot i did.

Really need to STOP looking at my camera screen I think as the photos look meh when I look and then i look at them on my computer and they actually come out quite nice some of them.

Drawings from by the river:

started by drawing this boat, which turned out ok. wasn't expecting anything other than a scrawly mess anyway.

while i was drawing the boat, the rain kept splatting on the paper, so i thought Id scribble some stuff and let the rain do its thing to it, but then it stopped raining.
did a drawing of the lake with oil pastels. not the best but was fun and the colours came out exaggerated........

looking at these photos i realise how easy it is to miss the seasons. it didnt look or feel that orange n autumnal but the photos say otherwise.

would b good if i had a non adjustable lens so i can prevent myself from using it as a zoom lol

do more plein airs?? need to draw more in general tbh i am out of practice with it and lazy... could do that exercise where u set a timer, do one in 30sec, one in 5min, one in 10min etc.
miss doing painting studies... like the thing with blue red n yellow did at 6th form..
think now n then about doing a masters, but theyre spenny and idk if id do art or english/literature/writing... only thing is i am broke and also want to learn and i think a huge chunk of it would be career focused...
