since film is so expensive i wanted to do a little shoot with my digital camera the same way you would with film.

rules:

use light meter on phone.

Was keeping an eye out for abandoned furniture and interesting colours.

weird exposure, but i like it.

55mm | f/5.6 | 1/200 | 400 ISO
over exposed a bit

55mm | f/11 | 1/320 | 400 ISO
accidentally walked through a cobweb to get this with a massive spider on it.
I liked the two cars next to each other and the speed limit sign. think i'd edit this to get the shadows a touch darker.

8)
55mm | f/11 | 1/320 | 400 ISO
saw this written on a garage.

9)

55mm | f/11 | 1/200 | 400 ISO

was loking for abandoned furniture & this is the first i found. would edit the shadows down a touch for a higher contrast.

tried a canted angle with this but idk if it worked out.

16)
55mm | f/13 | 1/320 | 400 ISO

liked the blue garage door popping out. thought the blue sign in the top left would compliment it but idk.

21mm | f/5.6 | 1/200 | 400 ISO

first saw the open door, and then the open window, ont think there was anyone in there.

19)
36mm | f/16 | 1/200 | 400 ISO

long pathway with one tree at end

23)

23mm | f/16 | 1/160 | 400 ISO
like the two cars facing opposite directions with the tree in the middle. think there were some yellow-y things on the tree which also complimented the bricks

24)
55mm | f/20 | 1/250 | 400 ISO
open door, radiator, nice reds

25)
28mm | f/16 | 1/200 | 400 ISO

conclusionnnnnnn

fun experiment. would try again. was excitin to come home to see what the photos looked like.

had to rlly think about the photos since i only had a limited amount. Also !! On a walk i feel i kinda just passively wander, but was good to actually be looking around all the time and notice stuff i wouldnt other wise.....

dont know whether its just my brain being Biased, but these pics have a very film-y feel to them?? idk

Think was v useful to have to think about the photos, n a lot of them are pretty good.
also i think limitations vs excessiveness both r good in different ways
