deldramas | garden photos

for one of the images i want a heavenly looking thing was originally going to do a painting n then when i got into taking film photos i thought i could take a photo instead and then since quarantine n i wont be able to develop it, ive moved to doing it digitally.
I originally thought to make a set in my room, but then since the quarantine n everything is shut there are occupied gardens from the hotel thats now shut due to the pandemic at the back of our house so i thought i could take them there.
i dont quite know how i want the photos to be set up so i decided to take some test photos to put the layout/frame into perspective.
still debating as to whether i should be sat on a chair in them or just have nature and no person? but i can decide that as i review the photos more. Also i want it to look quite heavenly so i tried out some overexposure n varied shutter speeds.

tbh it would b useful if i could print them out n draw on them but i dont have a printer, so i might try do it digitally but idk!

nice flowers, but i think the placement would be too weird.

with these it could look cool if i was sat so you cant see the end point.

i liked this little nook bit, but shaDE. maybe with flash could look interesting?

sitting under a tree might be nice, but would have to sacrifice the glowiness as would be in shade.

I like the placement of these bushes below as they are dense and have nothing really behind them and theres a good balance of flower and leaf.

i noticed there was a rocky platform bit that might look cool to stand or sit on but you cant really see it because of the shade. I took these photos around 5pm, so maybe ill go a bit later n see how the shadows and light changes. Also it might look interesting to take some when the sun is setting.

now thinking about it i think i am subconsciously influenced/have the image in my mind of flower fairy books i had as a child as well as the garden/shelter that was at my primary school.

i did some editing of the photos

 also took some more that had me in them, but i look like trash bc i was having a shit day and i think i didnt like what i was wearing as the dress doesnt have the right Vibe and i couldnt go charity shopping bc lockdown.

I left these for now, as i decided on presenting the sound piece with an oil painting and having a booklet of the images i did like this and by editing. For the grad show, I would have done a big version of the first image but with Black and White and on a bigger scale like Mark Rothko scale.
