Portrait Series Progression Update #3

I wrote an overview of what roughly had so I could look at it on one page. I decided I wanted to go into the route of having it as a sort of criminal who has travelled through different time/dimensions to steal paintings, and create a sort of 'conspiracy theory' narrative. However I was unsure whether to do the board from the perspective of a futuristic police of a normal person who's looking into it.

I did some more research into time travel urban legends and art thefts and found a lot of interesting stuff that inspired me.
I looked into piracy after being reminded of adam ant when doing research for my face paint and found some cool stories.
I also found a greek god named Chronos, who was the personification of time, and that kind of ravelled into thinking my concept could be viewed as a kind of 'origin' myth story.
I made some notes on expressionism as it is extremely stylised and I wanted to make my portraits more stylised.

Overall, I think my series has become a sort of mythological, stylised, mood board. The idea of stealing art i think relates to Aestheticism and the quote 'Art for Art's Sake' and I think I just liked the idea of someone travelling around and being this sort of 'art saviour' like a kind of greek god idea/ art cowboy/vagabond/pirate idea, if that makes sense?
I liked the greek god in the terms of they have a 'story' and are a some sort myth.
