Shoot 06.02.18

Here are my favourite photos from the portrait session we did on the field in class. I loved this task and I found the lighting on the field at that time extremely effective. The edited versions are on the Left side.
I really loved the composition of this. The colours pop and the interaction between the two really comes through. The amount of sky is prefect with the sinewy tree branches cutting through. This also resembles some kind of fashion magazine shoot due to the concentration on the clothes. The texture is nice.

This one is interesting and I loved how it was cut; you can only see one face. Again, this one is super interactive and also so textured with the clash of materials.

I love the framing of this photograph; with each subject half in the frame (one more so than the other) and the stretch of landscape in the background. The horizontal lines almost connects the two.

When I took this, I was trying to find a different angle and as I couldn't go upwards, I went down. I had a few photos like this, however I chose this one as the two were facing away from each other slightly. In my opinion, the large amount of sky puts them on a separate platform/world from the observer.

The contrasting angles here really complement each other and the light shining from behind looks other worldly and I enhanced the orange in the light to make it more golden.

I love the tones in this photo, they look muted in a way but at the same time the colours are super nice. The relationship in this photo is really shown in way they are interacting in a spontaneous way.

This is similar to the one above, however, shows more background which works well too.

i love the unusualness/abstraction of this one. The closeness of the two and it also doesn't reveal a lot, but could be thought about.

This one is also unique as it shows the subject at a different angle and also shows how chilly it was then.

This one is similar to the above, but shows 2 subjects rather than one.
