Initial Research | Portrait Series

At the very beginning of doing portraits, I had a series idea before anything else. I can't quite remember what it stemmed from, but I thought it would be a good idea to do portraits of one person dressed as different 'personas' and also I thought it would be cool to do something that i could lay out like a crime board.Recently, I have been developing my ideas, both from new ideas and from the one above.

I wrote down different series ideas and inspirations, including things i wanted to look more into as they had Inspiration Potential. I then re-wrote it onto one page, neater, so i could read my ideas in a more organised way and decide what to research, etc.
I think I have decided to go through with the idea of creating a crime narrative with a character(s) and have messages/metaphors to create meanings. Additionally, I may experiment with the idea of creating a poem in visual form to see what happens with it. I am currently looking at conspiracy theories, auras, and crime films that i like to create my narrative. Now thinking, I may also research into philosophy as after reading the Picture of Dorian Gray I am inspired to look into this to generate concept ideas.
I have a lot of inspirations, so for the next step I am going to narrow them down and draw what I like/what i want to take out of them.
