Week Two of our Documentary

TUESDAY THE FOURTEENTH OF NOVEMBER
We had a meeting with Anne to give feedback as to where we were at with this project and she gave us some good feedback, raising some good points and ideas. We had originally been trying to get in contact with the Farnham Herald to get a space to advertise, however Anne recommended that we try and get them to get a journalist to do a piece on us and go about it that way, which we all agreed was a really good idea. As well as this, we brought up that we wanted to put flyers up, but at the same time didn't want too many people crowding, so Anne suggested that we put them in the baptist church to target that community and Waitrose as it is near the church. After this meeting, we decided we needed to watch more documentaries to be inspired by the way they're shot and edited to help catalyse the ideas of how we wanted to do ours and also we need to try and get a few extra helping hands - we were thinking the Mindful Society may be able to help out, and if not a few friends.

WEDNESDAY THE FIFTEENTH OF NOVEMBER
We once again met in the library, not for as long this time, to work on the feedback we got from the meeting and organise the structure of the event. We came up with a brief schedule, however it still needed fine tuning as this would be helpful when we're trying to decide how we're going to navigate the filming process and what shots to get, etc.

THURSDAY THE SIXTEENTH OF NOVEMBER

On Thursday, we met in the library once again and wrote a giant to-do list as well as a list of the separate activities and interactive things. We then gave ourselves goals to do this week, I had to draw/sketch some shot and editing ideas so we could begin to think of how the documentary will look visually. A lot of the things on the to-do list were things that would be pulled together as we got certain things done, so there were things we would need to prioritise, so I drew a brief timetable as to what we should roughly do each week leading up to filming just so we could keep on track of things.
We have also decided that we wish to have our documentary branch across different styles, so we are going to shoot some B-Roll footage to combine with the shots we get on the day, as well as sound effects.

mindfulness exercises -  app/website article gave me idea to do something with tidying https://www.headspace.com/blog/2017/11/14/get-focused/   idea to write lists & separate cards.
I also watched a TED talk on mindfulness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzR62JJCMBQ , itwas interesting.
