Atomic Blonde (2017)

"You can't un-fuck what's been fucked"

Atomic Blonde was one of the few well made blockbusters that burst out of this summer with its unique style of Johnathan Cela's cinematography. The movie is deeply set in the rough, cold, conflicting atmosphere of 1980s Berlin, starring Charlize Theron and James McAvoy, brimming with intense and angry fight scenes are accompanied by the electronic beats of a familiar 80s soundtrack.

This movie was definitely a breath of fresh air for me against the persistent cycle of the same blockbuster movies every year that fill the billboards on buses. Atomic Blonde is a stylised piece with fantastic neon lighting (this goes side by side with the soundtrack & theme of the movie) and is a one woman show that Theron carries to a top standard.

If you can catch this movie, I definitely would recommend the watch.
