Monday 20th May our hotel had complimentary drinks so started the morning by getting a little coffee at the hotel, and wandered towards the gallery, as we were meeting david for 12.  David got lost on the metro so desiree n i went into a cafe and had a cappuccino each and a pancake too share. david arrived finally and since our gallery tickets were for 2:15, we went into the rijksmuseum gardens; took some pictures, then sat by the pond and did some sketchin... pretty happy with how they came out. started this one with a light sketch and then went over it again adding darker lines. sketched this one roughly too and then went over it while having another coffee in the same cafe finally was time for the van gogh museum.. spent a couple hours there - 3 i think. i took some notes and found it really engaging which was nice, going to make another post with pics n notes etc as if i put them on this one it will be soooo long.. also got told off in the museum as i was talking to desiree abo...

 took a few misc photos in amsterdam so thought id put them all here. didnt take my dslr on the trip as i took it to paris and barely used it, so just took my film camera
