Silence is about the contrast of sound and then vs the lack of it... silence can be emphasised using Smaller sounds.. Eg silent films are fully silent, but dont feel as silent as some sound films can be Little red riding hood & 'straying from the path' leads to nothing good... would be interesting to do some parady of this?? imagery of woodcutter cutting open wolf and freeing riding hood n her grandmother... anyway artaud techniques list: - tableaux - props n masks - ritual and ceremony - Narrative (or lack of) - Dream World: scenery, props, costume
