Galleries in London 29th September | National & Hayward

Image
While in London, I decided to grab the chance to look at some galleries to see if i could find anything interesting that could help me with our installation project. I first went to the National Gallery, as I wanted to look at paintings as I have been into painting more recently and wanted to look for inspiration/sources to think about what kind of things I want to paint. Also, it could be inspiration for other projects. I then went to the Hayward Gallery as there was an exhibition on there called 'Drag' that I found while researching places to check out; i wanted to use my time wisely. I didnt get any photos as photography wasn't permitted, however I did write down somethings on my phone so I could find pieces afterwards online.... michel journiac - derive, 1995: birgit jürgenssen luciano castelli his majesty the queen: ulay s'he 1973 There were also TVs with video art playing. I particularly liked the ones by Paul Kindersley.
